Malaysian Tycoon is a flash-based business simulation which is very much identical to the game play of Lemonda Tycoon. Incorporated in the game are three different game stages. Each game stage with a different outlook. The primary activity of the game is to allow players to experience the daily operation of a business, including, hiring employees, buying furniture, deciding on recipe, supplies purchase. In addition to that, there will also be extra features introduced to the simulation. Features are such as bank, mutual fund and item purchases which will require real currency. The estimated length of game play is at least 6 months. This flash game will also be linked to a network to allow database storing and also leaderboard preparation. Some of the features which players can use throughout the game include bank, mutual fund and item purchasing. -Bank:Players can allocate an amount of their cash balance into the bank and earn interest which will be charged on a daily basis.The interest rate is subject to changes -Mutual fund:Players can allocate an amount of their cash balance into the bank and earn dividend. The dividend rate is subject to fluctuation and the value of balance in the mutual fund will also be subject to fluctuations -Item purchasing: Players can use their cash balance to purchase furniture, decoration and promotional items. They can also select where to put each of the purchased item. -Employee hiring: Players can choose the hire employees to help manage customers -Advertising bar: A bar which measures the level of advertising points. Each time players purchase a promotional tool, points will be accumulated. Each tool will have a specific point. -Employee satisfaction bar: The bar will measure the level of employee points. These points are allocated by purchasing employee items. Each item has an allocated point. Throughout this game also, players will be experiencing different scenarios. Each scenario will result in different outcome. When scenarios take place, the news section will inform the players that the scenario has taken place. Tip section will inform players on what are the impacts caused by the scenario and how they should deal with it. Real currency Item purchasing: Players will also be able to use real currency to purchase points and use these points to purchase items in the simulation. Elements which are required to be stored in the database: Cash balance, the level players are in, bank balance, mutual fund balance, recipe, quantity of supplies, point balance (points which are purchase by using real currency), the level of each advertising bar and employee satisfaction bar. |
